I have to say I'd normally be very skeptical because I LOVE the movie, LOVE Gene Kelly and I have NO idea how they're going to pull off the amazing ballet. BUT, for some reason after reading through that I just have a good feeling about it. Harry Groener, Erin Dilly, Randy Skinner and the whole creative team, I really think they have a good chance at pulling this off. I'm really excited to see how it comes along and see what happens! re: THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED's (with Chad Allen in Hartford, CT) artwork Jan 23, 06:56:41 PM SO cute. Very eye-catching and sure to get some attention to the show. Wish I could see it! re: O'Hara's Debut Solo Album, featuring Connick, jr., released May 6 Jan 23, 06:45:32 PM SO thrilled for her! If I could pre-order now I would! Great Book, Not-So-Great Score...

Executives including Kai-Fu Lee, vice president of Google Inc. and president of Google Greater China, warned participants in an industry conference in Beijing this week against a get-rich-quick mentality. But they said that between strong investor interest and an education system churning out information technology graduates by the thousand, the groundwork is solid for years of continued steady growth in China. "For many Chinese young people and young students, they have a very strong desire for innovation, for being successful, for starting their own businesses," Kai-Fu Lee, vice president of Google Inc. and president of Google Greater China, told participants in an industry conference in Beijing this week. About 300,000 students receive high-tech degrees in China annually, said Zhang Ya-Qin, chief executive of Microsoft in China and its research development group.
Memories Of Johnny Weaver And Saturday Afternoons
“Turn out the lights, the party's over, they say that all good things must end…" — Willie Nelson Whenever I think about Mid-Atlantic Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions, my mind invariably takes me back to the days when County Hall was the place to be on Friday nights and the black-and-white Saturday afternoon wrestling show emanated from a small TV studio in Raleigh. From Charleston to Norfolk and all points in between, it was a territory that thrived on unique characters who could make people believe and have them coming back each week for more. Many of those names from that bygone era are gone now, leaving behind memories that will last a lifetime for those who were lucky enough to be around that special time. No name was bigger, and no wrestler was more beloved, than Johnny Weaver.
HTC TyTN II (P4550 Kaiser) Review
The HTC TyTN was considered to be at launch the best Pocket PC on the market. Crammed with lots of features, it made you think there could not be anything more to desire from a PDA. HSDPA connectivity, big screen, sliding keyboard, two cameras, fast processor made the TyTN a hit. And now HTC has come with an improved version which includes all of the features of its predecessor and even more. The most noticeable additions are GPS, which should get rid of the need for an external GPS unit, an OS upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 of course, a 3 megapixel camera and other improvements you are about to find out. The device was initially announced under the codename Kaiser and now it is known as the HTC TyTN II (P4550). Mobile operators have already started to sell rebranded versions under different names, such as MDA Vario III from T-Mobile and AT&T Tilt 8925.

Resistance 2 will feature a 60 player online mode, which I can imagine will be insane. If Resistance 2 expands on the same gameplay and amazing storyline the first Resistance left off on, Resistance 2 will no doubt be one of the best games of the year. Gears of War 2 - It's already time for a sequel of this game? I'm still replaying the first one!!! Gears of War was easily one of the most spectacular games ever created, and Gears 2 promises to deliver even more punch. Cliffy B (he gets on my nerves, but he made a heck of a game) has said that Gears 2 will have much more storyline than the first one did, and that's about the only thing the first game lacked. If we see an even more ridiculous gun than the Chainsaw Lancer in the first game, I wouldnt be surprized. Only thing I'm concerned about with this game is how hard my jaw will hit the floor when I play it.
Craddick's Democratic Supporters, GOP Opponents Fighting For Jobs
Lawmakers who opposed Republican House Speaker Tom Craddick during last year's rebellion will see if they face any consequences Tuesday. That's as voters decide which will get a chance to keep their jobs. A handful of state legislators are under attack for siding with the Midland Republican during a bitter coup attempt last year. Several disenchanted Republicans complained that Craddick is too authoritarian and joined with Democrats to try to oust Craddick from his leadership post at the end of last year's legislative session. Democratic Representatives Kino Flores, Aaron Pena, Dawnna Dukes and Kevin Bailey are among the "Craddick Ds" who angered their party by siding with Craddick in the rebellion. Their primary opponents have used their support of Craddick as campaign fodder.
Kos Defends Coulter
Can a cheap headline featuring hot-button words "Kos" and "Coulter" goose a blogger's hit count? The stats are in and the answer is ... unfortunately ... yes. ... P.S.: But the hed does refer to an actual item, which is here. 11:55 A.M. Kos mocks Sen. Lieberman for naming his ad hoc independent party "Connecticut for Lieberman:" It's still about him. It's always about him. Hmm. What's the name of Kos's site again? Daily Netroots? Daily People Power? ... [Stolen from reader C.] 5:39 P.M. The Atlantic's editors have hit on a way to make you hate them: Blogging to let you know what a challenging, "thought-provoking" time they're having at the Aspen Ideas Festival listening to E.O. Wilson, Alan Greenspan, Bill Clinton and Karl Rove, among others: .
